We’re looking for a Content Writer who can help us craft compelling, multi-channel and multi-format messaging that resonates with our community and target personas, communicates the value of our services, and stands out from the competition.

Responsibilities

You’ll be responsible for producing content for online communities, internal forums, and social media channels as well as for our newsletter, blog, emails, ads, and website. You’ll be expected to understand our customers, their pain points, and our product’s strengths and weaknesses, then develop content that speaks directly to their needs. You’ll also stay current with industry trends and best practices to help shape our content strategy.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Knowing our customers through regular interactions, research, and analytics
• Identifying key user personas and tailored messaging for each persona
• Creating and editing content for our newsletter, blog, life cycle emails, website, and ads
• Writing content for online communities, internal forums, and social media, and engaging with users on those platforms
• Writing scripts for videos and copy for graphics to accompany content created for various channels and platforms
• Staying current with industry trends

Requirements

• 2 to 3 years experience in SaaS content creation
• Strong writing and copy skills, and a portfolio of written work
• Proficiency in spreadsheet software; experience with spreadsheet-database tools a major plus (e.g., Grist, Airtable, Notion, Coda, etc.)
• Skills in image and video editing, and portfolio of relevant work, a plus
• Experience working with WordPress blogs and pages
• Experience in startup environment
• Strong team player
