Content Writer

Provide a voice for 5,000+ clients in the automotive industry!

The Content Writer creates informative and engaging web content that promotes the products and services offered by our clients. In this role, you will implement search engine optimization best practices to help increase the web presence of clients in their respective markets. This role requires someone who has good time management skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively from home.

Here is more of what you’ll get to do:

  • Research and write original content, or use our database of existing topics, to engage readers and drive them to other parts of a client’s site.
  • Communicate and collaborate internally with fellow writers and other team members, including Client Relationship Managers, SEO Specialists, and Web Support Specialists
  • Adhere to deadlines and quality requirements, including external branding requirements, that meet LeadVenture product standards.
  • Work independently on assigned tasks, following best practices and team processes.
  • Keep current with industry trends, search algorithms, evolving UI/UX, SEO best practices, etc.
  • Engage in projects designed to improve team processes and provide better content for clients.
  • Assist in creating and providing training on processes.

You’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Experience in a professional writing role or comparable experience.
  • Education in a relevant field (associate degree or higher preferred).
  • Proficiency in written, informal English (American/Canadian dialects).
  • Interest in emerging technology, including Large Language Models, with a desire to explore the benefits and limitations of tools and resources as aids in the writing process.
  • Willingness to become familiar with products and services offered by clients.
  • Excellent proofreading skills.
  • Versatile writing techniques with an openness to feedback and the ability to apply critique.
  • Flexibility for workflow updates and changes to existing processes.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a keen attention to detail.
  • Collaborative skills, with the ability to work with domestic and international teams.
  • Basic computer literacy in navigating the Internet, researching topics, identifying trustworthy sources, messaging, and partaking in video calls.
  • Knowledge of Google Drive and Microsoft Outlook software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Search Engine Optimization (SEO) a plus.
