Job Description

In this role you will be responsible for technical and topical online content to help AAT members in their professional lives. The challenges range from tax, anti-money laundering and ethics, to careers, inspirational stories and the future of finance.

Term: 12 month FTC
Hours: Full time (35 hours per week)

Location: We have hybrid working in place, with 1-2 days per week, in our office in Canary Wharf.

What Exactly Will You Be Doing?

In this role you will be responsible for technical and topical online content to help AAT members in their professional lives. The challenges range from tax, anti-money laundering and ethics, to careers, inspirational stories and the future of finance.
You will be working closely with the Content Manager in a supportive team, eager to help you succeed.

Major Objectives

  • Create and deliver a technical content plan to engage members and support our CPD programme. Oversee the AAT Knowledge Hub platform.
  • Create and deliver a weekly content plan to support our members’ newsletter, AAT News, using data to measure and increase engagement.
  • Create ancillary content to support AAT objectives, such as responsible business and social mobility.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Can plan, commission, write and edit for digital platforms.
  • Dealing with authors, including subject matter experts.
  • Researching and developing innovative ideas and turning them into clear briefs
  • Ability to empathise with different audiences within finance and develop content for them.
  • Able to use or learn different CMSs (WordPress, Drupal, interactive content tools).
  • Experience of, or willing to learn, Google Analytics or other analysis tools.
  • Follow brand guidelines and internal processes.
