All applicants must have excellent English writing skills and be self-starters who can complete assigned news, guides, and features in a timely manner without extensive edits and supervision. Although not required, familiarity with using Google Trends to direct coverage is a plus.

Requirements

• 2+ years professional writing experience – specifically in game guides or editorial content related to gaming
• An understanding of multiple video game genres and their communities
• Ability to meet deadlines and write about games from a first-hand player experience

Pay range: £25,000-£26,000 per year.

Submit a resume, a short cover letter describing your writing experience & details regarding what games you currently have experience with, and at least two relevant writing samples or a link to a portfolio / author page. Note: A cover letter and writing samples are required to be considered. Unpublished but relevant writing samples will be considered acceptable.
