Ourisman Travel is a privately-owned, award-winning, luxury travel consultancy specializing in luxury hotels & villas, cruises, safaris & highly personalized itinerary design.

Ourisman Travel is seeking an experienced Marketing Coordinator who is responsible for supporting the execution and growth of the business’s marketing strategies and campaigns.

The travel industry requires a familiarity with geography and staying up to date with the latest and greatest luxury hotels and hotspot destinations. It also requires understanding of unique technology and precise attention to detail.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of the new phase of travel and dynamic luxury travel industry. This role is designed to grow with the company and provides the candidate with in-depth, long-term training to develop these specific skills.


  • Create and execute marketing strategies to develop an active pipeline of new sales prospects
  • Create and monitor an editorial calendar to keep track of quarterly goals
  • Brainstorm out of the box ideas to mix up content that will keep consumers engaged
  • Identify, monitor and communicate market/industry trends, consumer feedback, and adjust the campaigns accordingly with the team to develop a solution
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and lead monthly marketing meetings to hit quarterly marketing goals
  • Create and launch marketing campaigns that are also aligned with social media
  • Create and publish blogs that are also aligned with social media
  • Provide on-page SEO recommendations and completing these implementations on CMS platforms such as WordPress
  • Review, edit, optimize and alter title tags and meta descriptions, website content optimizations, and structured data enhancements to ensure maximum search engine friendliness
  • Provide strategic recommendations (content, technical, link strategies, & more) to improve the SEO friendliness of our website
  • Create and post relevant content on social media posts, Reels and stories regarding new hotel openings, exclusive promotions, new campaigns and blogs recently published, our services, and how to tutorials
  • Monitor and stay up to date with the current algorithm to stay relevant and engaged with consumers
  • Engage and stay relevant with followers by re-sharing, liking, and commenting on any client and partner stories and/or posts
  • Tap into the influencer market to generate quality leads
  • Work alongside a web designer and our technology consultant to assist with our website redesign
  • If necessary, work alongside a graphic designer to refresh our brand identity logos, fonts, color theme, etc. to coincide with our website redesign
  • Create and design graphics for blogs, campaigns and social media through graphic design software such as Adobe Illustrator and Canva



  • Must have a passion for details and organization and an appreciation for the importance of consistent procedures
  • Must be proficient with email communication, task management applications, online graphic design, social media, marketing software and content management systems
  • Successful candidate will have proficiency with remote communication and will be deadline-oriented
  • An in-depth knowledge of travel destinations and luxury hotels is preferred
  • Familiarization with travel Consortias such as Virtuoso, Preferred Partner, Rosewood Elite, Diamond Club, FAN Club, STARS/Luminous, etc. is a bonus
  • Positive leader with the ability to manage oneself and others through competing priorities
  • Must be open to on-the-job training and be comfortable with remote training environments
  • Consistency both in day-to-day tasks as well as with our overall company voice and branding
  • Knowledge of and experience with Apple software, Gmail, Asana, Slack, Evernote, Adobe Illustrator, Canva, ActiveCampaign and WordPress
  • Ability to adapt as environments change
  • Drive to develop working relationships and effectively communicate with team members, empathize with their needs, and develop an effective approach to marketing support for the team as a whole


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Marketing is preferred, but all majors will be considered given a sincere interest in marketing
  • At least 3+ years of experience in a marketing position
  • Experience in database and list management in a CRM platform
  • Must be capable and comfortable with working remotely 100% of the time
