Job Description

In this role, you will support the design and execution of demand generation and communication programs. This role will learn from our experience and extend our robust inbound marketing and inbound recruiting campaigns. The focus is on adapting the latest tactics and techniques to build awareness and nurture leads as they flow through the marketing to sales to customer cycle. As an integral part of the marketing team, this position works closely with other marketing, advisory, and customer advocacy team members.

Ideally, this person is intuitive and enjoys attracting, engaging, and delighting people through their storytelling to grow a business that provides value and builds trust. What You’ll Be Doing On Our Team

  • Write clear, engaging, well-written content for the website, landing pages, blog articles, web banners, video, and emails
  • Draw on industry best practices, current events and trends, customer needs, and company objectives to generate ideas for engaging content that provides a best-in-class customer experience
  • Ensure consistency of brand voice and tone and expand our messaging for various customer personas
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer feedback, sentiment, and social engagement metrics, and offer suggestions for improvement
  • Complete drafts/edits of content and finished projects within mutually agreed deadlines
  • Work closely with the marketing team, Advisory team, business unit leaders and members of the customer service and customer advocacy teams
  • Manage and track multiple projects while juggling shifting priorities

About You and the Skills You’ll Need

  • East Coast Time Zone: This is a remote work position where actively engaging in and contributing to our mission-driven culture is in everyone’s job description
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or professional certification
  • 3+ years’ of writing content for digital and print media
  • Experience writing a mix of marketing emails, advertising copy, webpages, and professional blog posts or news articles
  • Experience writing and researching a variety of topics with various personas
  • Exceptionally high-quality communication standards and attention to detail
  • Excellent proofreading and editing skills
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro experience
  • Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
  • Strong project management and problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with CMS and AP Stylebooks
  • Expert knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and writing best practices
  • Comfortable working independently and meeting tight writing deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively and support the team.
