Role Description

As a freelance content writer, your role will be pivotal in shaping our brand’s voice in the e-commerce space, and ensuring we rank for key topics in our niche.

The Main Tasks You Will Work On

• Useful & Engaging Content Creation: Produce comprehensive, well-researched blog posts that delve into the intricacies of e-commerce automation and accounting.
• Platform-Centric Content Creation: Create content that revolves around the platforms we specialize in (WooCommerce, Xero, QuickBooks, and Shopify), offering insights, tips, comparisons, and expert guidance.
• SEO and Engagement: Apply your knowledge of SEO best practices to optimize content for search engines, driving organic traffic and engagement.
• Editing: Collaborate with our team to review, refine, and polish existing content.

Requirements

• Proven content writing experience, with a focus on e-commerce, accounting, or related niches
• Knowledge of e-commerce accounting & automation, and at least some of the following platforms: WooCommerce, Shopify, QuickBooks & Xero
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, showcasing a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence
• Research abilities to help you create useful and thorough articles on varied e-commerce and accounting topics
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and ability to seamlessly integrate keywords while maintaining content’s authenticity
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Self-starter with the ability to deliver quality content by specific deadlines
• Expected monthly commitment: 1-2 long-form blog articles

While we welcome tech-savvy content writers who know how to optimize their time using the latest tools, all content will be run through an AI check before publishing.

The content provided should be unique and sound natural. We’re looking for writers that can not only produce well-researched and useful content, but add their creative touch to it, and engage the reader.
