Job Description

The Content Strategy Executive role reports to the Content Strategy and Delivery Manager. This role supports content strategy planning for categories, campaigns, and initiatives.

The Content Strategy Executive role reports into the Content Strategy and Delivery Manager. This role supports the planning of our content strategy for categories, campaigns and initiatives.

You’ll be responsible for devising video, animation, imagery and editorial content solutions to support our channel partners in online, CRM and social. You’ll be accountable for delivering performance driven content that helps achieve individual category commercial KPIs.

You’ll also be responsible for using data driven by social listening, SEO and Google Trends to plan our TechTalk content calendar.

This role is also responsible for delivering regular reporting of content analytics and the co-ordination of our regular content user testing programmes.

Key Role Responsibilities

  • Develop appropriate strategy to support product, campaign and initiative projects
  • Deliver annual content calendar for TechTalk based on social listening, SEO and Google
  • Growing amount of content produced along with growth in supplier funded content.
  • Collaboration with commercial stakeholders
  • Delivery and performance of annual TechTalk content calendar
  • Delivery and performance of product, campaign, and initiative content strategies across channel.
  • Increase in annual content spend/output of content creation Video views, view throughs
  • Relationship management of key internal stakeholders and external agencies

Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  • Experience in developing and managing content strategies
  • Experience using social listening and SEO tools
  • Experience of reporting analytics
  • Experience of working within the retail industry
  • Good working knowledge of production tools, CMS, Social Listening and SEO tools
  • Great understanding of how to develop content to suit all channels
  • Ability to be persuasive and discuss content objectively
  • Ability to write coherent strategy documents and principles
