The Global Marketing Organization (GMO) is a critical enabler of PwC’s growth, driving value for one of the world’s most trusted brands, raising our profile, serving as an authoritative voice on the topics that matter most to the world, and driving tech-enabled, data-led impact and best practices.

The Role

The role is part of PwC’s Global Thought Leadership team, which creates content that is as strong as engaging with PwC’s best people. We build PwC’s voice on cross-cutting management issues impacting today’s global leaders.

We publish strategy+business, a leading global management publication. We collaborate with stakeholders, internal and external, to deliver rich intellectual capital fueling high-impact global campaigns. We contribute to digital innovation that helps PwC punch through.

Key Responsibilities & Skills

  • Creating high-quality content that is novel, useful, and rigorously substantiated; that meets the firm’s risk management, legal, and ethics standards; and that projects a strong point of view likely to break through externally, drive reputational benefits and commercial results, and support the extension of the PwC brand;
  • Understanding today’s business, industry, geopolitical, and management challenges; identifying and building collaborative working relationships with subject matter experts (internal and external) able to shed light on those issues;
  • Interviewing CEOs and other leaders for publication (e.g., as part of the “Inside the Mind of the CEO” series), and supporting content development efforts with external thought leaders whose ideas can help extend PwC’s narrative on critical topics;
  • Contributing to digital format innovation efforts that maximize the value of content by, e.g., adapting it to different channels and making effective use of data visualization and multimedia possibilities;
  • Delivering multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities championed by diverse stakeholder groups, collaborating effectively within the Global Thought Leadership team and across the entire Global Marketing Organization (including our marketing, creative, and digital teams), and demonstrating flexibility when priorities change.
